January 5th will see us welcome in the new year with a pairs better ball competition. It will be a stableford comp, with the better score on each hole counting. Handicaps will be off 3/4. Both players play their own ball, not alternative shots or anything like that.ie if player A is on 13, his handicap will be 10, so he will get a shot on stroke index holes 1-10. If his partner is off 23, his handicap will be 17, getting shots on stroke index 1-17. The best stableford score (better ball) of each pair counting. Prizes as per usual MJ round, dependent on how many are there on the day.
